I plan on going to r academy in oct in Vegas. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I met the instructors at a jag driving event last weekend - they include some successful drivers including Robero Guerrero and Davy jones. They seem like very good instructors. I went to bondurant racing school a while back and it was awesome. It will be nice to go to driving school in my own type of car, plus the price is right.

What exactly do you mean by "the price is right". I thought it was free to original "R" owners from 2010 on?

The price is right- it's free! Typically, 1 day driving school costs $1200-2000.

DO IT!! I bought my XKR 175 in August 2010 and attended the R academy in December 2010 (Homestead, FL) and it was terrific. It's free for XKR/XFR buyers, but others now can go for $1,850.

I received my invitation back in January for the R Academy in March but couldn't make it. I will probably attend the event in either Miami or Las Vegas later this year. Do the instructors change depending on location?

I'm pretty sure it's the same instructors for all of the events

So I'm thinking we have to call the concierge because if you try to register on the site it asks for credit card...

U can enter a pin # that should have been given to u, instead of your credit card. However, when I tried to enter my pin today it did not work, so I left a msg for the concierge

Got a new pin # from jag today- I signed up for the oct Vegas event. The hotel for the event/reception is the Trump, which is a great hotel.
