Default Help with Dexron 6 power steering fluid

So Dexron 3 is the recommended fluid for our power steering.
But Dex3 has been phased out and superseded with Dex6 (since our recommendations were published)
I have many gallons of Dex6 at hand.

Will Dex6 work?

It says on the back of the bottle (A/C Delco) replaces Dexron III in all applications except Power Steering and manual transmissions so I would say no.

Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF all the way. Unless it was changed for the 5.0 XKs.

Coincidentally, just had the power steering fluid flushed and the reservoir changed at the dealer. Part number C2P10363 was applied = https://www.terrysjag.com/product/C2P10363.html

Not that I’m aware. I’ll ask. I had always used DOT 3 in the past without the additive. Never had any issues.
