You need the Audio Connectivity Module, Part# CSP 16491 - you can fit it yourself if you have the right expertise, but you'll need a dealer or independent with the Jag diagnostic system to configure the car to recognise it.

Xk6gr, there are a couple - your system needs an input source. The Audio Connectivity Module (ACM) wires into your head unit and has USB and RCA inputs that will accept output from your iPhone and other sources. It's not cheap but it provides line-in audio quality and is discrete in the glovebox. Another solution is to get a Bluetooth FM transmitter which will play your iPhone music via Bluetooth through your sound system using a specific FM frequency.

I agree the Tune2Air solution is by far the best since it integrates the steering wheel controls too.
Even though I already had a bluetooth solution I replaced it with the Tune2Air just so I could use the steering wheel controls, and am now finally happy with my bluetooth setup.

if you don't already have an ACM or a newer year car that came with iPod or Aux inputs, the Bluetooth FM transmitter approach is by far the easiest/cheapest method, but the sound quality is correspondingly awful and is not at all in keeping with the quality of the rest of the car.

No info was displayed on the Jags touchscreen but my steering wheel controls work fine controlling track up/down and volume which is perfectly fine with me. It even reconnected perfectly upon returning to the car.
Any special trick to get it to play? I picked one up and I cannot get it to play audio from my Pixel XL. I too have a 2010 XKR.

I got one from Viseeousa as well, but cannot get it to play in my 2010 XKR. I am using a Pixel XL and trying to stream Spotify. I got the dongle connected via bluetooth just fine, but cannot get the car to play any audio.

I have a WMA1000 in my 2008 XKR and it plays just fine.
For the 2008 year you had to buy an Audio Connectivity Module (Jaguar part number C2P16491) to get the Apple/USB/Aux connectors that comes already included in newer years. The dealer has to program the car when you have the ACM fitted, so then you get an extra input source button (AUX) on the display.
My WMA1000 is plugged into the Apple connector of the ACM and I also have to select the AUX input on the head unit to listen to A2DP.
I tried several different bluetooth receivers but the WMA1000 is by far the best, both for sound quality and unlike all the others I found/tried, the previous/next controls on steering wheel work with it.

Couldn't get it to work, and holy hell is getting a return to Viseeo USA a huge pain in the ***. Took a week of back and forth with "support" and a threat to initiate a chargeback. Their phone number does nothing but tell you to email support, and the one they have listed on PayPal is out of service. On their site they say they'll provide a return label, but didn't. If the device is working for you, great, but for those looking to get one I'd look elsewhere.

Default WMA 1000: how Pause??

Hi all,

I use the Boovee WMA1000 successfully since a few weeks in my xk 2011, with an iPhone 6S, current firmware on the iPhone.

It works really well, including the steering wheel controls. As someone already mentioned above, there is however one issue that nags me: you cannot pause!!

If I try to pause a song or podcast, the WMA 1000 somehow forces play again. If you just want to stop playing, I found a workaround: you turn off the stereo system by pressing on the volume button or you choose another source, such as eg. FM radio. This works.

For one situation however I still don’t have a solution: If someone calls you while you’re listening to a song via the WMA1000. The call comes in via the other Jaguar Bluetooth phone connection. If you accept the call in this situation, the song via WMA1000 will continue to be (somewhat muted) audible in the background during the call, which is very irritating for me and the party on the other side of the call (they must think I am in a bar or similar). The only solution here so far was to physically disconnect the WMA 1000, which is a problem while driving (not even disconnecting Bluetooth for the WMA 1000 works!!).

Has anyone found a good solution to accept incoming calls when listening to audio via WMA 1000?

BR

For those of us who have gone down the Bluetooth to FM streaming route. I found an alternative to the popular RoidMi device which has a simple next/prev/play/pause button on it..

https://www.banggood.com/IMars-5V-2_...p-1272610.html

Its slightly taller than the roidmi so the ashtray cover doesnt close... but it has a button on it so closing it isnt really the idea. Sound quality also seems marginally better. Worth a go for $12

I don;t know about Apple, but on Android phones you can separately control which bluetooth device the phone and the audio go to.... If you don't have that option then could you just temporarily mute or at least turn the music volume down on the phone using the steering wheel controls?
