HELP: Is there a simple A2DP Bluetooth Music stream solution ?

So, it doesn't work with a 4S directly, nor with a 6 via a Lightning-to-32-pin adapter, nor with the WMA1000. That suggests it isn't the connected devices, but something wrong with either the cable or the Auxiliary Input Panel. I had some issues with my iPhone playback and the charging function stopped working, so they replaced the panel - problem solved.

Another option
I took a lazy and cheap option and got an FM transmitter that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It has a cable interface to my Android phone and also a USB port. Quality isn't great but between engine and road noises, I'm not sure that I could tell the difference with the more sophisticated solutions. It plays Pandora and music stored on the phone just fine. $10 for the transmitter and 5 minutes to get the FM station set.

follow up
Good News to share with everyone. The problem with my vehicle was a bad I Pod cable that was in the vehicle. Had the dealer check out today and they replaced the cable with a new one under warranty
My I Phone 6 and WMA1000 is functioning like a charm when in the I Pod mode. Runs off the steering wheel controls and everything
Just FYI and thanks for all your knowledge on the threads

I have the optional Jaguar Audio Connectivity Module in my 2008 XKR, and one of these plugged into it:
It works great.
If the 2010 XKR has a way to get an analog audio signal into the system (e.g. an apple connector adaptor) then you wouldn't need the Jaguar Audio Connectivity Module.
Amazon.com: Miccus Mini-jack RX: Bluetooth Music Receiver pair it with Phones, Tablets, PCs and Apple Devices: MP3 Players & Accessories

Three entire pages and nobody said the obvious best choice;
Buy a five dollar USB Flash Drive and put all your music on it. THEN, stick the drive into the USB port and LEAVE it there (until you want to put another couple thousand songs on it) and it will play flawlessly. Why go about all the horrible bugginess of an iPhone or the hassle of plugging/turning on every phone? Keep your phone in your pocket where is SHOULD be and BT it with your phone system only. The flash will always be there and it interfaces perfectly. I have about ten thousand songs on my Flash and it's not even 1/4 full yet.

On the other side of this-I can't believe anyone still buys music or downloads it. I literally stream everything I listen to from the internet. I don't think I've actually purchased a song in 5 years, probably longer. I run Kodi on my phone and listen to whatever I want to listen to.

The problem we have is the Wife has the XK as a daily driver and listens to Audible audiobooks. They play through the phone app and keeps the previous listening position, plus the file has DRM specific to Audible. So no direct play from memory stick or hard drive.
My best solution so far is bluetooth streaming receiver hooked to a RF Transmitter in the glovebox. Since it is an audiobook no problem for quality.
