Hood/Bonnet Open
The "Hood Open' warning has popped up this morning after I checked the fluid levels.
I've searched for a cure, but all of the previous threads dealt with semantics concerning hood and bonnet.
The warning clearly shows it is the hood/bonnet and not the hood/roof. Just to be sure, I cycled the hood/roof and the warning persists.
The hood/bonnet was securely closed several times since the warning appeared and several times of turning the car off and on.
I had the hood/bonnet up yesterday for the first time in a while and there was no warning when I closed it.

As I posted to Jag-Laddie, I worked a screwdriver around the metal coil and also used contact cleaner on the micro-switch and all is good.
Cheers
