Default How many hours of labor to replace xk coolant plastics?

Hi all, I am planning on replacing most of the plastic cooling parts listed below, for my 2010 Jaguar XK 5.0 Non Supercharged. and was wondering what a reasonable amount of hours would be required for the job? My car currently has 14,000 miles. A local Indy is doing the job. My water pump was replaced close to 2 years ago with the latest updated 2015 part and IS NOT being changed. The parts are all OEM from Jaguar and consist of the following:

1) AJ89664 Coolant Outlet Flange
2) AJ814007 Heater Outlet Flange
3) C2Z199929 Thermostat Assembly
4) C2Z28432 Throttle Body Hose
5) C2Z28467 Upgraded Water Pipe
6) AJ811713 X 8 Intake Manifold gasket
7) JLM209723 Jaguar Coolant

Parts 1,2 and 3 are absolutely mandatory for me, with 4 (rubber hose going the length of the valley connecting to the heater flange) being thrown in as well.
I'm not sure what 5 is and was told it doesn't often fail. I'm going to assume to always replace the intake manifold gaskets when removing the intake and of course the coolant. The Indy is charging me 4 hours labor and full retail on the parts. Does this sound fair? Are there any parts I am leaving out? Thanks all.

While you are at it. Why not look into aluminum replacement pipes which are available through Ebay. You can find more info on these in other threads dealing with replacing coolant pipes.

I hear you! If there was a replacement for the plastics in our cars there would be a huge thread on this very subject. None that I know about.

Ralphwg.....If you know of such a link or any replacement for our plastic lines... PLEASE DIVULGE! I'm sure there would be a long line of XK owners seeking such an upgrade. My Indy who only works on Jags repeats the same thing over and over... If only they made a metal replacement for the dreaded crossover pipe! I have no knowledge of such a replacement pipe or any other.

Here is the link on Ebay. Not all of the replacements are aluminum, but some are:

https://www.ebay.com: https://www.ebay.com/itm/314012598664?_trkparms

Also, know that these are for the supercharged engines only

i've posted a summary of mine before: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...4/#post2439338

five hours of labor seemed right on the money for this job. since you are also replacing a thermostat assembly, and i don't know what else has to come off to get access to that, you might expect an additional hour of labor.

The new design for the front one no longer has a seam, which was the issue with the previous design. Sadly, the rear crossover design has NOT changed and mine failed at the seam as they all do.

Unfortunately, even the front crossover upgrade only pertains to the supercharged version of the 5.0 and not the Non Supercharged. And yes... even the rear crossover design remains the same crappy seamed version..
