The convertible rear window, that is.
As you can see, I did it last night. My garage ceiling is too low to raise the top, and it had started raining. So I raised it outside (manually raised the windows)... ran upstairs with groceries... and promptly forgot about it.
If you get a little impatient with the process it's actually easy to do.
I'm missing something here .Usually the door windows close after the side windows close so how did you close the door windows. So far I haven't done what you have experienced so I just was interested in how you do this. I usually close the top in my garage but the normal cycle won't let me do what happened here.
I’m guessing he doesn’t have Steve’s (aka WhiteXKR, aka theJagWrangler) remote top control, so he holds the button until the top closes and latches, then releases the button before the windows close, and then manually raises the front windows.
Get theJagWrangler.com remote top control (with rear window control is a great option), and you won’t have this problem anymore.

OK I guess I coulds see that move but by holding the button the rear windows go up and then the door windows go up so why stop during the cycle. Just seems strange to do it the way you mention.
Lots of ways to have the back windows halfway or down, but that just shows you that YOU NEED STEVE'S TOP REMOTE!!!!
It's a one-press and leave deal, even on the interior control button. No more ghetto holding-the-button-until-you're-pissed-and-it's-not-even-done-yet scenarios.
Pull the door seal rubber out at the bottom of the window, remove the bolt and slide the glass forward out of the window seal. It's actually kind of neat looking. Pity that the coupe glass doesn't lower since the our chassis have the vert top framework behind the side trim.

I meant as a joke, but it would have been neat to roll with the glass down and out of the way. The thing is that it looks like it could have been...
All you need to do is tap the top button for a second and the rear windows go down with the top up. No need to start the top down cycle.
OK then. I'd not know that because I have the JagWrangler stuff. One tap on the top button and EVERYTHING goes down.
Course, THREE taps on the PAX window switch and the rear windows go down, so there's that...
