The AJ133 is not a Coyote, not a single shared part between them and a totally different head, camshaft, injection, etc. In no way related.

Jaguar XKR 1,0 km : 4.2L vs 5.0L - YouTube
xkr 4.2 (420hp)- 12.9 @110mph
Xkr - 5.0 (510hp) - 12.6 @ 115mph
Xkr-s 5.0 (550hp) - 12.0 @122mph

On average ever .1 or 1mph on your et should equate to 1 car length so no wonder the 5.0 pulls so hard against the 4.2

Default Upper pulls replacement

I've enjoyed taking mine to the track several times, and can't wait to go next weekend with the upper pulley replacement and flash tune.

Does the upper pully do that much for the xkr? How much horsepower does it add

I have not done the tune yet, I have it, as the software for first one was not correct and I was sent a replacment, I just haven't had any time over the last few weeks to spend the time loading it. Depending upon which tuner company you use (ie; ETG, Eurocharged, Vmax) the claims are anywhere from 80-105hp gains over the stock 510hp. Some have suggested that tweaks in the exhaust system (such as the X-pipe of the XKRs) are necessary to extract the maximum gains. I hope to have some time this week, and then I'll report what I "feel." I have done just the pulley, and I'm not sure I can tell the difference.

Tberg
For the tune to stick to a x-pipe is a necessity that is if you are loading the tune remotely.

However if it's a custom dyno tune no x-pipe is technically required however it's recommended due to the simultaneously firing of the left bank , plus it's good for a few extra hp & torque

1080p: Jaguar XKR 510 HP vs Mercedes SL600 Biturbo x 2 races - YouTube

Also the prices on the XKR-S are great buy for what was a $133k car, I like the seats, interior, big HP motors, but the rear valance and spoiler are a big gaudy and Japanese drift car looking, the front is also marginal, but in black it's not so noticable.

Anyway, too many choices, I have found some low to no mile XK's, XKR's and also XKR-S's that are such a good buy and value. On top of it, there is not a bad angle to the car lookswise! The M4 etc, has no front overhang and a huge overhang, and even the F-Type looks a bit odd at certain angles and looks like it has no rear end, but it's a great looking rear end. Actually EVERY car looks odd after looking at a Jag XK.
I felt the same exact same way! Had a 2010 XK and was mad at myself for not getting the Big Boy. Have a 2015 XKR and after having nearly every high performance car I've ever wanted, most not last past a year before I got bored, this one I've had for 3yrs and it's not going anywhere, lol. If you think it's fast stock, do the smaller upper pulley change alone with a tune and you're basically at 600bhp. Will be adding the larger crank pulley and aircooler and it will be roughly 650bhp. No better looking car from literally every angle, until you get to hyper cars IMHO, and it doesn't get lost in a sea of corvettes, porches's, Chargers etc....JustSaying

Layton?!?!? You're about anywhere between one and six miles from me, and only the second other person I've seen in here from this area.

The Jaguar XKR pretty much gaps everything and certain newer model cars like the 2020+ RS6,an XKR will go neck and neck with it if it can't completely gap it and won't lose unless you give up
