100% in agreement.
I've been on car forums since the early beginnings of CompuServe (and on the net itself when it was still called ARPAnet...yeash!), and learned quickly the value of sharing knowledge.
Unlike many other forums, the general IQ and maturity levels here (with a few exceptions) are by far, greater than any other I have participated in.
Thank you JaguarFourms and Members!

This has been a great forum with a vast amount of information provided from other Jaguar owners along with personal experiences.
I am also a member of the Internet Brands Corvette Forum, and this Jaguar forum is so much better. On the other forum people are rude, offensive and sarcastic to say the least. Here you do not find that occurrence.
Perhaps it is the quality of the Jaguar owner.
Thanks to everyone and anyone that has helped in the learning curve of owning my Jaguar XKR.
Special thanks to Stuart S another 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio Edition owner for all of his helpful posts relating to my Jaguar, and so many others.
Over the last 3 years I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge about the Jaguar brand.

I doubt that my ownership experience across two Jaguar convertibles would have been possible or nearly as enjoyable without the support from this forum. The gentleman I bought my first Jaguar (XK8) from in Scottsdale, AZ directed me towards this forum and I'm forever grateful for that guidance.
The knowledge sharing and simple "how to's" have been invaluable, and I've been able to make a few inexpensive tweaks to both rides thanks to those brave lads who dove right in and gave it a try.
Final thought: despite my AARP eligibility status, I do reserve the right to occasionally behave in a manner that is inconsistent with my actuarial maturity. God has decreed that I have to grow older; I have decided that I may not necessarily have to grow up. Apologies in advance if those momentary lapses of reason are offensive to some of you.

Nothing worse than owning a great car that you love but having no where or no one to turn to for opinions, suggestions, answers and explanations about how to diagnose and or fix a problem regarding your car. This forum has proven several times over to be a fabulous source of info and help about my Jag. And to all of you who have helped me ... thanks a million!

This forum has made owning and driving XKs and XKRs far more enjoyable for me. I've been a member/participant long enough to have forgotten how I found it in the first place. I have received an education, enjoyment and friendship from being here and would miss it greatly if it would disappear. No day is complete without a visit. Thank you fellow X150 forum members!!

Good to read so many positive replies.
I too have been around forums since the Compuserve days and moved on to JagLovers. Settled here at jaguarforums.com when JagLovers didn't keep up with the early issues on the XK8's. If I don't spend too much time on XK/XKR forum, it's because my own has been remarkably reliable .... so far!
What keeps me at jaguarforums.com is the enthusiasm of members across the model forums for all eras of Jaguar. I've owned many Jaguars in more than forty years and never cease to be amazed at the determination and skill of those who keep the older ones running and in such remarkable condition.
One big difference I find between this and other vehicle forums is the widespread willingness to share knowledge and not being rude or dismissive when someone asks basic questions or makes a mistake with advice. Long may this continue.
