Default Interior Tweeter Housing Help/ + Drain plugs

So I noticed the tweeter cover and tweeter itself on the inside drivers side door are not fully seated (possibly due to a small crack on the tweeter cover). I wanted to get into the housing to fix, can anyone enlighten me on how to take the housing off. Would I have to take the door panel off to get to it, or is it separate? I'm sure someone has removed replaced their side mirrors and would know. I searched the forum, but as I am yet to learn all the terms so something might be out there.

Side question, where would one acquire the trunk drain plugs if they were so inclined? (1" oval) located at the bottom of the pan. I looked for similar ones at local hardware but no luck.

Thanks....

Yes, the inner door panel needs to be removed to get to the tweeter cover. The work shop manual describes how to go about removing the inner panel. It involves removing a couple torx screws then prying the panel away around the sides and bottom. It then lifts straight up at the top to release from the spring clips along the top of the door. from there access to the tweeter will be pretty clear.

As to the rubber plugs, I would think you may find them at almost any auto parts stores.

Great thanks, I will pull up instructions on how to remove panel to access. As for the plugs, I have been to every auto parts store locally and looked online, no dice.

I used a plastic pry and got it off, however, the tweeter is not held in by anything (except the cover as far as I can tell) and falls into the housing, to reconnect I have to get into the housing. Did you note your tweet mounted to the inside?

All I had to do was twist the tweeter and remove from the housing there was I think 3 tabs that held it in place
