Default Intermittent infotainment screen

Hey guys, first of all thank you all for providing such great advice and willingly offering your experience with working on these truly beautiful machines.

2007 XKR Convertible.

I am posting for the first time with an issue that seems to present itself about every fourth start or so. Unlock, sit in, brake pedal push, start button push, the mixer bursts into life with that unmistakable growl. Usually two or three seconds later the radio screen comes on and asks me to insert a disc (to update navigation I assume) but then quickly goes away. Normal operation ensues. So, to the issue, occasionally, the Jaguar logo stays on the screen and no infotainment visual systems are shown, but if I adjust the temperature in the car, the heating and cooling respond. No radio activity seems to work though and as I said the Jaguar logo stays on the screen. Currently I turn the car off and back on again and it fixes itself, but I thought I would put this out there and see if anyone else has had the same thing happen to them and therefore see if there is a fix.

Thanks everyone!

My 2008 XK which I just bought had a similar issue...

This is the 3rd I have owned 2010 and 2015.

Both never had a SINGLE issue!!!

This one one morning went blank on the info tainment.....restarted several times...nothing..

Drove for 20 miles..went bowling as has been perfect since ...3 weeks

Not sweating it..

as I said my previous two were bulletproof......

but it is 17 years old...

love it!!!

This is commonly sourced from a depleted battery.

MOST loop. A module is failing? Usually when a module in the loop fails, the screen cycles on and off while said module reboots.
