My Sirius XM Satellite Radio signal in my 2007 XK convertible is often out with the message stating that is is acquiring the signal. However, AM/FM/CD works fine. I have worked with Sirius XM support who has reset the signal several times which does not resolve it. Has anyone had this before and know of a solution?

 

Sometimes, not often, the SAT antennas get gooey from corrosion and need replaced. Or maybe the connection is loose?

I could never get my 07 to connect to XM. It would never link up to the sat signal .. maybe it was the antenna, but in the end just use a bluetooth xmitter to my phone and stream XM, Tunein etc from the phone apps. No sense in paying for XM on the xk since I only use it a few times a month ( I already have XM on two other cars that connect with no issue ).

Let us know what you find or else use XM through your phone/blueooth

I have Sirius XM on my Volvo and, after speaking with Sirius XM support, they gave me the connection for my XK at no extra cost since I said I can only drive -- and listen -- to one at a time. However, I do like your idea of using my smartphone and will try that!
