Default iPhone XR connected to 2014 XKR-S

has anyone successfully connected an iPhone XR with a 2014 Jaguar XKR-S? I am looking to upgrade my phone from a iPhone 6+ which I have gotten to connect to my car, but do not want to upgrade the phone if it will not connect. please advise.

buy a BOVEE 1000 bluethooth adapter and rid your worries away. Best $90 dollars I've spent.

OR, upgrade more to any Android. It will connect perfectly, will be a better phone, and you won't have to buy more stuff to make it work with your car.

Free virus's what? What would a virus own?
Oh, you mean "viruses", as in Plural of "virus"?
Nah, I've never had a phone virus. Ever. Neither has anyone I know. On any type/brand of phone. Haven't had viruses either.
