Hi, been struggling with this for ages - given up a few times.

I want to fit a wired FM iSimple Ipod device to my 08 convertible. The workshop manual (and advice from other users) show an FM AE splitter that I think may be the best place for me to insert the AE line for the iSimple unit.

I cannot find this on my car. The navigation unit has a module below - but I think this is the telephone module.

All I have seen suggests that the FM splitter is in the right rear, but all I can see is the roof hydraulic unit.

Can anybody give advice or help?

Thanks, have seen this thread - it was this one that prompted me to get the iSimple.

My car is a later model. AE is in the spoiler, not the same as shown in the thread you provided. I cannot located the splitter that appears from the manual to be in the rear right wing.
