Just installed the UK BU light that I got from e-bay UK (via my grand daughter a temp. in UK). Have not connected wiring to US BU light yet ; just plugged it in and it works with Headlights and rear Fog light switch ON.
Will remove hatch trim and splice hot wire as Rey did. I hate removing trim even with a special tool.......................
Replaced an ignition coil on wife's XK8 last week so it's time to rest now and fix the computer again!

Having two BU lights is just great.............
