Default Jaguar , we have landed

Here it is and I guess I have a name for it. The speedo read 6666 when we took it off of the truck. So either "red devil" or "Lucifer" But I can tell it's gonna get me in trouble. My bride of 45 years took it for a ride and she doesn't know how it does 70 in a 30. LOL

I didn't even know the speedometer went up to 6666mph!

Congrats, she's gorgeous! I love those wheels.

I call mine The Beast - would be appropriate with that speedo reading

Very nice - mind it doesn't bite you!

So very nice...and GREAT color. This is a rare XKR and doubt that you will see very many of this combination.

Keep us posted on your thoughts about owning this Jaguar. Happy for you.

Your timing is right on. Have a great summer! The pictures don't do that color justice. It's more of a candy apple red than a fire engine red.

I'm still sorting through the options but as of now it's got big brakes (Red) with 20" wheels. Also came with metal peddle kit. I'm trying to contact the previous owner to see if he has the window sticker. The price was on the title and it came in at $111K. I also noticed that when I put it up on my lift it has the X pipe in the center of the exhaust and it sounds great . I don't know if this is the standard exhaust or the active. It does have the motors on the outside pipes. Got the phone hooked up but having trouble with the garage door opener. Need to read through the manual. I was a little disappointed with the clean up and to compound it the car was transported on an open carrier during the last day and a half of rain here so I had to wash it. OK tomorrow is insurance photo's and then NYS inspection. I just put it to bed.

You have the performance exhaust option which is the same as my exhaust and the XKR-S. I had a 2011 XKR 175 before my current 2013 and I can honestly tell you the performance exhaust is bliss--much better sounding than the standard exhaust. Wow, and you have the convertible. To open up the exhaust valves all you need to do is push the dynamic mode button on and the sound will be to die for. I've heard the car also needs to be driven in "S" mode with the paddle shifters engaged for the exhaust valves to remain open all the time. Otherwise, the valves operate (open/close) depending on engine rpms. Based on my experience my car sounds distinctively different with the dynamic mode on only. Have fun experimenting. Go to topix.com to get your build.

If you go to your dealer they can print you a copy of the window sticker. I had one printed for my car when I bought it last July.

Beautiful car, congrats. No slight to our other members XKR's, especially since I am without one at this time but I love color on these cars. Give me that red or blue and I would as giddy as you are. Oh...... and from past experience, its also funny how 60 is actually 100, LMAO.

Gorgeous car, and in my opinion the best color combination. It's what sold me on mine, red over black. I should have my 5L XKR silver over charcoal coupe next week or so. Can't wait. Lots of mods first.

Congrats!!! Beautiful car! My STR is that same color...I think its called radiance...I actually thought about buying my XKR in that color, but thought it wouldn't be very cool to have two Jags the exact same color, so I took door # 2, black. Enjoy your car...She's definitely a beauty!
