The UK eBay site is a great source for Jaguar parts, etc. Found a CD for the XK/XKR 2006-2012 at Jaguar XK XKR X150 Workshop Manual | eBay.
It's cheap. I ordered the CD and it arrived in about two weeks. I have not seen this on the USA eBay site. Scrolled through its contents. It is very thorough and reads easily. It covers all variants of the XK/XKR - right hand drive, left hand drive and peculiar/unique variants imposed by some nations.
I intend to carry this CD when traveling.

 

You've confused me, which is probably a ease thing to do. You confused me when you write (I've found a CD).

I clicked on the URL that you posted and read it. It says this is not available in a CD and that you download it.

So. Can you clear this up for me? In the last few months I"ve printed out the manual from TOPIx - TOPIx which is good but time consuming and took tons of print cartridges and paper.

So, I'll probably download from the site you listed, but I'm confused about you indicating it's available in CD. Probably just me, but........

 

Sorry for the confusion. I purchased a CD workshop manual "XK XKR 2006-2012". It was not a download. The CD itself has over 4,000 pages, if you care to print all. It was mailed from U.K.

I have the same Manual from a different source. It's 46mB which is fine if you have a good broadband internet connection but would take a very long time to download on dial-up.

Just looked at ebay, CD's are available from 2 vendors in UK; not same URL but close, all you have to do is look around!
I ordered one.................

So, these ebay listings state "2006 - 2012", but then later in the descriptions state they cover only the 4.2L cars.

As we know, the 2010 models and later have the 5.0L...

So if they only cover the 4.2L then they don't cover through the 2012 model year...

What am I missing?

 

not much! I have a 2007 w/4.2L so I'm happy!

I bought the download and it downloaded in less than a minute. Now to transfer to disk tomorrow.

It looks just like the one from Topix. I was afraid it was going to be some dumbed down "book' like a Clymers manual. Not so.

 

I just did and it was a pretty fast down load. Covers 4.2 models. $15.97 There are other useful documentation there as well like the electrical guide $7.99.

Much better than a cd or dvd.
