No one mention this, but I would to put the car on jack stands and raise it off the floor. If you can't do that get some marine grade carpet and place them on each tyre. Pump up the tyres to their maximum pressure, usually 44psi so they don't deform and dry rot. Car / dust cover keeps it nice and clean.
I personally wouldn't bother about cranking it over every couple of months. Just give it an Italian tune up when you ready to drive it again.

Battery tender helps. I've got one which works with lead acid, AGM and lithium batteries for my MC. The tender also act as a secondary battery source so if you disconnect the main battery it acts as a backup battery so you don't loose the memory settings etc.

Modern oils stick the cylinder for a very long time. You can tear apart an engine that hasn't been started in years the there's still oil along the cylinder. I would not turn over the engine just for the heck of it. Some collectors want their cars rolled around the garage to avoid unnessary starts (on older cars).

I've had my MG and Jaguar in winter storage for 11 years and have never started the engines in the winter. Same with my motorcycles I had when I was younger, I just cranked the engine a few seconds before I started them in the spring. Never used gasoline stabilizor in any vehicle either and they all ran fine in spring!:-)
