Check with SNG Barrett as well, to see if they have the older version.

Although they garner numerous poor ratings, "Pacific Motors" (I think) seems to have a lot of salvage parts available.

Actually, the Pacific Motors reviews are pretty good (if you're gullible enough to believe everything on the internet). Don't be fooled - they're in Detroit. Shop X150 parts here: https://www.pacificmotors.com/produc...150-2007-2015/ The search box is at the bottom of the page.

I bought an illuminated sill plate for my XJ from them with no problems. The price was fair, description was accurate and shipping was fast. It was out of a wrecked XJ and was used, which was exactly what I wanted. It was easy to install and it works perfectly.

I’ve bought numerous items for my XK from them, but you have to remember you’re getting used parts. Usually covered in dirt and grime, not necessarily carefully removed from the donor car, and I’ve found their prices a bit high for what you get, but sometimes they’re the only game in town, so you gotta pay the piper.

On my search I found a set of LED with the pigtails for alot less. Im not crazy about it, but I will give em a shot. Is there a write up in order to add resistors? Im sure that they will cause dash warnings about lights not working if I dont add resistors

Check out this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...d-55139/page4/
See post #66 by George Kale (here's a link to his PDF: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...ps-upgrade.pdf )
If you get the harness for the trunk lid (between the inboard light), it will make your life easier.

Hmmm... Are you talking about the LED lamp units from a 5.0, or are you talking about simple LEDs that you want to put in your existing 4.2 lamp housings?

lots of folks want to upgrade to the Leds.
So put them up on the classifieds.

not a bad idea. Im picking them up in a few hours. Luckily the car is on the lot, so I will have to get all of the wiring. I spent some time with George Kales write up, and I think I can tackle it.I will know once I get my hands on them

that might be the hard part. Once I get started, I dont touch my phone. I have to finish the job, or be forced to leave it alone til the next evening. I got the lights, trunk harness included

I found George Kale's document to be pretty detailed and sufficient to get the job done (other than one wiring diagram that I found confusing, but I added my interpretation for clarification to the previously mentioned thread).

If you're looking for rear LED lamps give us a shout, we can supply good used ones at knockdown prices.
We also have the later harness in stock..

*Resistors & fitting required, not a straight swap*
