just pull the headlight, 3 bolts, one plug, one water hose...that gives you access to the air pump. The pump has an electric motor, turning a squirrel cage. Remove the from squirrel cage cover (it has clips) and spray in that way. The motor is contained in a plastic housing, you cannot spray the 'back' of it.
If you replace it, pull the front inner wheel well liner for access.
