Default Low profile jack recommendations

Thinking about installing XKR-S side skirts. Its a PITA as is to wedge a jack underneath as is. What are you guys using for a floor jack?

I bought a standard low profile steel jack with a handle which both pumps and twists to lower. It woks very well but is very heavy and since I bought it I have tried one of the similar models but made from aluminium as, I'm told, used by race teams. They are more expensive but so much lighter that I would spend the extra next time.

Thanks, thats what I was leaning towards. I wonder if their low profile, long reach model will work both on the XK and Range Rover.

I bought a low-profile aluminum floor jack from Harbor Freight a couple of years ago. It has worked fine on my XKR. It would depend on how high you LR sits off the ground as to whether it would work.

You'll have to decide if this is high enough for your LR.

Funny that, it's what I use for the lowered XKR AND the Ranger Rover and Land Rover Disco. They offer a bar as well which for the LRs, can lift and entire side, 2 wheels off, at a time.

That also looks the same as mine but look at the weight of it. As I said above, if you can afford the alloy version then I would go for that instead.
