Is the front lower grille on the '07-09 XKR the same as on the '10-11 XKR, i.e. are they interchangeable? Or a different shape/mounting? Is the '07-'09 XKR-S different in shape from same year XKR?
They look the same to me in photos, but sometimes there are subtle differences.

The easiest way to know with certainty is to search an online ORM Jaguar parts seller and see if those parts for different model years have the same Part Numbers.

 

They have different part numbers, but look identical. That's why I was asking. Even for an '07 - '09 XKR there are two grilles with different part numbers - one for cars with block heater and one for cars without block heater. But both fit. Go figure.

Maybe a simpler way to ask: is the lower grille opening (size, shape, dimensions) on an '09 the same as a '10?

 

I wouldn't count on it. The front end was re-worked somewhat for the 5.0 version of the car.
