My XKR got eaten by a AAA truck
With sad heart I have to say my XKR is no more. It was hit in my parking deck by a AAA truck and we have it on camera. Unfortunately the damage isn't something I want to fix so I'm moving on to the F Type SVR. I'll be doing some mild mods but nothing to crazy
I just could not resist a possible 600hp and AWD although it could use a diet. I looked at a 911 GT3 RS but everyone wants 100k over sticker and I'm not paying over sticker for anything. Although I'm sure I can retire on it in 20 years an AAA truck may run into it as well.

thanks guys, I was really upset this weekend, but at the end of the day it's a car, things could be much worse. Luckily it's I have a good path to get out of the situation. I just really wanted to keep this car, it would have been paid off this year.
Yesterday I looked at a GT3RS(100k over sticker), GT3, and thought about the Aston(maybe next). Then I called my friend at Warren Henry and he had a fully loaded Ultra Blue coupe coming in 8/1 with a 6/17 build date. It had everything I just happened to spec a week earlier just for fun. He was able to call in and add the carbon package and suede wheel so it's exactly what I wanted...
Not that I wanted to loose my XKR, only 60 more days LOL

Max, It is good to see you back here, though not under these circumstances! Wondered what happened to you. Really sad to hear what happened. What is to come of the remains? I want those calipers, seriously. Not sure if you have followed what I have been doing to my XKR, but so far custom carbon fiber interior, ergonomic and flat bottom sport carbon fiber steering wheel, carbon fiber & alloy paddles, Quaife torsen LSD, custom Eibach springs from Spires, carbon fiber body kit, custom light weight wheels powder coated and with wider Michelin PSS, custom red stitched diamond quilted leather interior, Jaguar Alston suede charcoal pillars, visors & headliner, supercharger pulley. Currently having a few performance ECU tunes written by Stuart/CHris @ VelocityAP and new 200 cell cats fabricated, should be done by the end of the month and 100BHP & torque more than stock.

jahummer,
Before you buy the OEM front Alcon calipers and/or rotors, make sure that your custom wheels will still fit after those parts are installed. You may want to contact Forum member Richzak, who has been down this road and has all the specs and measurements.
