A fix not yet mentioned is to wash the radiator. Spray a degreaser on it, then a gentle spray from inside the engine bay outwards, should do it.

I said that way back in post #3. Nobody paid attention to it.

I did and I went back and hit the like button just for you CeeJay.

Anyway the OP was out here last on the 25th. Let's hope he comes back and at least let's us know if the fan works.

Well I took it to my Jaq mechanic and first had the battery replaced as the one out in two years ago was not 100% I had him check the fan he simulated it and says fan is working , so I pick it up bring it home maybe 10 miles and notice a smell like coolant felt the top of the hood was warm but not hot to touch , opened the hood 2 hrs later felt the top of the shroud that covers top of engine and it was still hot not warm but hot I’m at a loss now maybe just change thermostat I quess
