Both Rock Auto and Auto Parts Warehouse confrrm the Akebono front pads part# as EUR938. I purchased these front and rear Akebono pads for my '07XKR from one of the two dealers (forget which and I'm traveling on business). I then had a Jaguar dealer install them. The dealer found 40% life remaining on the front pads, so they only installed the rear pads (part# EUR1095) - which installed with no issue. I think you're good with the Akebono EUR938. I've found that the dust is significantly less with these pads. I can sell you mine if you want. ..if so, please just PM me.

Excellent - and kudos for installing them yourself. The rear pads part number for Akebono Euro ultra premium pads is EUR1095, and is the rear complement to EUR938 front pads.

I don't think Akebono makes front pads for 2007 XK. I went to their web site and they only list part numbers for the rears?

I know it has been some time since you were looking for brake info, but I am having no luck finding part no or the correct front pads for my 2007 xkr. I got EUR 938 and these are not correct!! What part number did you finally use? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Does anyone have any tips for putting those R logo plates back on? Those were a huge bear when I removed them once!

I went this route already and after speaking with 2 different reps at Akebono headquarters.......I was told that Akebono DOES NOT MAKE FRONT PADS for 2007-2009 XKRs or 2010+ XKs. These model years use the same front and rear pads. I was told there are not enough cars to meet their 50,000 minimum units to start production for front pads. I have just finished ordering rear akebonos (Euro 1095) and for the front Centric Posi Quiets 105.12400) The reps told me that the Eur 938 akebonos are still listed incorrectly in catelogs at many distributors and it will take a few months until it is corrected. If you check, Tire rack and Rock Auto both have the correct ceramic brakes for our cars listed. I'm getting mine from Rock Auto. I hope this info resolves the misinformation that is going around. It's not fun getting the wrong parts once our cars are apart.
