The Bill was $225.00 with lettering.
No way I was spending more when its under the hood 99% of the time and doesn't add POWER.

Jim:

Very nice....is it the Silver Carbon Fiber pattern same as mine?

It looks great and I am sure that under the hood, it really looks good.

I am glad that you had success with Bill.

And the pricing is great.

Glad your happy.

On the engine it looks great. What did you think of the Red R, I wanted the lettering to stand out and pushed the idea of SUPERRRR.

Is that shop local to you or did you send it out? What was the turn around time? Is engine heat a concern for longevity?

Jim:

Looks great under the hood, don't forget to fasten it down with the fasteners.

Like the lettering. You were creative.

Did you use the Black base w/ Silver Carbon Fiber pattern?

As for heat, the Hydrographic coating will withstand 400 degrees, but the engine cover has a heat shield underneath.

I used the dark silver base with the black carbon fiber coating. I followed Rich's instructions and talked to Bill several times to get what I wanted. The airbrushing of the letters was $30.00. Bill said it is all sealed before they send it and I don't have to do anything to protect it. They guarantee their work and are very prompt. It was 9 days from when I shipped it I got it back. I think it made a big improvement when you open the hood. I hated looking at a bunch of black plastic.

Fantastic! I can't believe how much it does show off the engine bay. Great touch with the letters!

Side question, I lost on of the engine cover fastening twist screws, anyone know where to get new ones?

The fasteners are Ford Motor Company fasteners and you should be able to get them from ....

ClipsAndFasteners.com - Automotive Retainers,Clips and Fasteners

I believe this is the fastener.....

Ford Clips And Fasteners

Most likely the part will be like other fasteners under the hood, which are also found on the Ford Motor Lincoln brand.

Keep in mind you will NOT be able to buy just 1 only....you will have to purchase a package of them.

Hope this information is a benefit to you.
