The steering wheel buttons light up blue don't they? Unless you've done some thing with the green.

Doesn't your old steering wheel (like mine) have adaptive cruise control button and the new one doesn't? Where do you put the contacts?

Isn't the picture in post #4 of your old steering wheel?
The two thumb-wheel controls on the right side are for ACC, at least they were in my old XKR?
If not, what was the 2nd wheel for? One is for cruise speed, and the other is for?

Nicely done…. how long from start to finish for the swap and did you encounter any real obstacle during the swap. Thx

The lower dash will need to be removed to gain access to the rear of the wheel to pop the clips out

The key is obtaining the correct screwdriver for the job , as the screwdriver has to be inserted and then turned the few I tried seemed to be too narrow.. although with perseverance I prevail and actually bent the driver from the sheer force .

A screwdriver with a wider tip will make this job a little easier

I just fitted a heated steering wheel to my car and found the airbag an absolute pain to remove, took over 30 minutes. Getting one side to pop out was the easy bit, then suddenly the airbag just jumped forward both sides.

Just waiting on it getting programmed and I'll have heated steering.
