Default No instructions for replacing Alcon brake pads?

Maybe I just have a crappy verision of the repair manual, but I am not finding any instructions for pad or caliper removal on the Alcon brake package. Not even in the 2010+ manual.

They list the specs for the discs and torque, but nothing on removal. All I see is "standard" and "high performance" removal procedures.

Does anyone have any link to the removal procedure with pictures? Or any tips advice on replacing the pads only?
Thanks in advance.

Aren't your Alcons the high performing brakes?

In their brilliance, Jaguar Manuals are for comic strip readers... there are only pictures and arrows. No actual procedures are anywhere.
ie; Step one would show a wheel on the car, then an arrow denoting "remove". Step two, an arrow on the caliper denoting "remove".

Yeah I agree Cee Jay.

Couple that with the fact they completely omit several important procedures ... and you've got a pretty shitty repair manual.

Just looking at some pictures of the Alcon calipers it look like it's a matter of removing the 2 caliper bolts and pulling the calipers off. Using the old pads just push back the pistons and then install the new pads. https://www.google.com/search?q=jagu...foySNaVFQxNKM:

Ok this has been bugging me as I recalled reading it somewhere. Took me awhile to find it but it's referenced in the training manuals (both the 07-12 and the 09). It doesn't help you with your problem, but to be clear, Jaguar references the Alcons as the high performance brakes
