Default Noise while in motion

I have recently completed a 3800 mile trip in my 07 Jag coupe. While at crusing speed on a smooth quite stretch of highway I can detect a thropping sound or maybe feel a throbbing sensation. It was noticed at the beginning of the trip and still is there at the end of the trip. The tires are new continentals with balancing and alignment done. There is no vibratioin in the steering wheel. It occurs about as often as this speaker moves. Is it an exhaust issue? You would think that if it was a bearing or drive train or transmission issue it would get worse. It definately is real and not my imagination.

Hi Welcome to the forums.

Did the sound start at precisely the same time as the new tires arrived with balancing and wheel alignment? If so, don't out think it but go back to tire basics. I know it's painful but have the balance rechecked. The alignment needs to be four wheel, did they do all four?

More harmonic sounds/noises like this are attributed to plain old tire noise so it could also be the Continentals. I'd personally be chasing these issues first before spending much time on anything else of this car such as bearings or other drive train components.

I see you did your intro a couple of weeks ago, so i guess you just posted this in the wrong place.
I'm going to shift it into the general tech section where you should get more help.
