OBD Logging / Monitoring device of Jaguar.
Hello everyone,,For a long time now I've used the android app Torque Pro pared with a Scantool LX bluetooth dongle to monitor data (GPS speed, OBD speed, coolant temp). I also have it set up to log the trip to a file, so I can go back and see a map and all the data I was monitoring.
Is there a product I can buy that will let me monitor anything from the OBD port, including GPS data, on a screen, while logging to something like an SD card?
I'd really like to stop using my phone as a dashboard, but not being able to see the data I'm used to seeing is annoying.
I'm in the UK if that makes any difference, and the two cars I drive are a 2014 Vauxhall Astra GTC and a 2003 BMW E46 330Ci. Something that works on both cars would be ideal, so I can move it from one to the other.
I have thought about just getting android headunits for both cars and just using Torque as normal, which would actually be great, but the Astra which is my daily, has a factory navigation system that I can't really remove.

2. your IP Address is Frankfurt in Germany but you are claiming LJM Car Diagnostics is near you. LJM Car Diagnostics is in Hartlepool in the UK which is about 15 miles from me and I'm a long way from Germany, India or Australia

Post #1 has been edited to remove all reference and the link to LJM Car Diagnostics. I was waiting for an explanation for the globe trotting across 3 Continents in 4 Posts.
We expect a basic level of honesty from members regarding their location. Specifically this is to weed out spammers from Asia and the Far East but it also assists in giving and getting accurate advice. As you are now claiming a fourth location, my patience is at an end.
