A big giant thank you to all the cleaning/detailing advice of those on the forum. Finally able to start putting it into practice. About 30 hours so far, a lot more time and fun to be spent yet to go.
When I originally got this car I wasn't in a place to spend the time on cars that I would have liked.
This is a new thing for me as before I've just done mechanical work. My Jaguar hasn't needed mechanical work.
I really love it, thanks for kicking me in this direction.
I've gone from a looks good from 90 feet paint to about a looks good from six feet paint.
Sanding and re-coating headlights is next.

New dash-wrap of '07 XKR
Meant to post these before of my June dash makeover. Regrettably, I forgot to take my own "before" photos.....but you all know the previous look (stock photo from the web). The total cost was $20......for a 24"x36" piece of ViVid wrap ordered from Amazon. I watched a couple YouTube "how-to's" and it was a hoot to do.
Note: The entire console was removed to extract the ashtray.......took almost 8 hrs start to finish (3 hrs for the console removal and replacement alone)
Stock photo just for comparison
Clean with 50/50 isopropyl alcohol (see YouTube videos for tips)
Easily undo screws....
Take your time and use rubber medical gloves to remove each piece - and don't worry if you mess up applying the wrap, the wrap is super cheap
Looks pretty good huh?
Modern look if you're not a wood dash guy/purist
Just need new mats and aluminum pedals
Miloh and his Jag
