Default Oil check makes me lazy

OK so how many check their oil regularly . I now find I am slowly breaking my habits of checking my oil before I take the car out because I can't. So with the 5 minute delay I just don't remember to come back and check it . I use the car 3-4 days a week and when I put it to bed I usually drive on to my lift and raise the car to park position and then drive my other car under it . It takes me only a few minutes to do this so now the car is up in the air and I can't get in to check it. So Now I make a point once a month to wait and check it. So how many times a month do you check yours.

I got into the habit of entering the garage and starting up the XKR, then I disconnect the maintainer, open the garage door and wait about fifteen seconds for the idle to fall to 'normal'. Then I shut 'er down and wipe the tiny bit of dust off the body with one of those "California Car Washer"s. That takes about two minutes. Then, I hop inside and turn on the ignition and my Oil Check works fine. I know it's supposed to wait for "Operating Temperature", but oil doesn't expand (much), and besides, when you're talking seven quarts in the pan, even a 10% expansion over that much area would be imperceptible.
Others have stated that these cars won't be ready to check oil under these circumstances, but mine does just fine. Granted, I don't do it EVERY time, maybe twice a month?
