So on Monday my 2011 XKR now 30k + miles was back at the dealer to replace broken trim etc from when they replaced the wiring harness.
The heated windshield had also stopped working on the drivers side.
The trim was replaced although a rattle which occurred since is still there
The windshield apparently needs to be replaced so I'm waiting on a new one to be delivered.
Incidentally the brand new BMW 328i Xdrive they gave me as a loaner failed to start Monday night with a flat battery as I didn't realize the to turn off a new BMW you have to press stop twice once to stop the engine and once to turn the systems completely off smh
