When I lock the drivers door with the lock in the outside door handle / when I return with the remote on my person no problem opening the drivers door, but the pasenger door remains locked and I have to reach over and unlock with the inside door handle. What am I doing wrong is there any other procedure,both doors open unlock automaticly if I lock with the remote. BL

 

Try double clicking the drivers door. If that doesn't work..double clicking the unlock button on the remote will open both doors.

 

Your car is set to single point entry - it's an anti-hijack feature. You can switch it to multipoint entry in Vehicle>Veh. Settings>Security>2-Stage Unlock>Off (that's where it is on my car, anyway).
