Bummer!!!!
Unless its almost like split in two, why not consider a repair yourself?
I've gotten really pretty good at it and in the event that its a fairly minor scrape, a little rough thats ripped the paint and looks bad, I sometimes do a spot repair myself.
With practice I've got really pretty good at it.
Its certainly worth considering as for a few $$ for sandpaper, primer and paint you could repair a wheel in a couple of days for next to nothing.
It'd make sense if you haven't done it before to practice on an old rim, easily picked up rom a breaker yard or the like.
There are several how to's on this site if you do a search....

I feel for you my brother.
I've scuffed three of four! No real damage, just cosmetic abrasions. But enough to put a crimp on your day. I figure I'll wait till I scuff them a bit worse, then do the repair or upgrade thing... Wish I didn't notice every blemish the way I seem to... Invisible to everyone else, glaring damage to me
