Default P0087 Live readings during restricted performance mode

Just picked up a XKR 2010 5.0 Supercharged, drives fine no issues but when I go on cruises and want to push it, ill get on the throttle

kind of heavy and then enter into a limp mode with restricted performance no check engine light and if I press on the gas itll eventually turn check engine on. When I pull over, turn car off and let sit for 5 min and ecu reset with my reader it drives like nothing every happened and code clears.

I have attached live readings of what I got during this, if anyone can take a look, came to the conclusion its probably a high pressure fuel pump issue, it has good pressure when idle but upon reading forums seems like a fuel pump or high pressure issue. Next option is to have someone can with SDD to really test it is what I heard they can see using that software.

This may be the cause of your low pressure. If not, things get more expensive.

I should probs do this first as this seems the most economic option along with fuel regulator, is taking to jaguar for a diag worth it in this case

For the few $ it takes, and often this is the culprit, just go ahead and change it, Delphi has aftermarket economy parts for this. Napa or even eBay these days. I am having hard time finding it on a parts list. I think it is still being used. .

I got the same code and limp mode and the whole 9. Mine is a 2012, but ended up being one of the 2 HPFP's. I have a thread on doing the repair on my profile, its rather DIY. Fuel pump costed me like $115

If you use the dealer, go there. If you have an independent garage, he can do it. A cheap fix could be to change the fuel filter, or fuel pressure sensor.
Don't go into the gas tank too quickly. =$

Incidentally, your ODBII reader states there are 2 DTCs thrown. What is the other DTC please?

And fwiw, there are 3 tests prior to replacing the sensor.
Cheers!
