Default Paint warranty question?

I got this on the rear bumper, I first thaught it was tar but no, its like if an acid bottle exploded close by

any idea if this kind of problem is covered, it has removed the paint indeed.

I don't think that would be covered. Is it the paint's fault because a caustic chemical etched the paint? Would be real suprised if it was covered. Sorry to rain on your parade.

^agreed.
However, your comprehensive insurance should cover it.
Any idea how or where it happened?

Bring it by a body shop and see if they know what caused it before calling your insurance agent or the dealership. Knowing the truth first will be your most important hand.
