Local dealer says can’t find a part number but it’s those 4 rubber grommets on the underside of the black plastic engine cover that slide over the 4 posts that are screwed into the engine. Must be thousands of em, anyone have a part number please?
He found the number for the posts but I have those all in place.
Thanks
Alan
It looks like the grommets come with the cover
However, if you search say ebay for Ford / Jaguar engine cover grommets, similar stuff comes up. It is a matter of identifying the exact one that slides into the retainers in the cover. Have you any still in place?
It appears from this thread that those grommets are from a Ford Mondeo. Ford Part #1434444. This was posted on an F-Type forum. Engine Cover Grommets
Take a look at this auction as it has detailed pictures. Grommets
Do these match what you have?

yes thank you! I went to my local ford dealer who ordered one for me. Had a different part number coz he said the number I gave him was from overseas. Cost me about $5 for one!
That's great but why did you not post the correct part number?
We all learn from each other and you can now finish this thread with a solution AND a correct part number.

.you already gave the correct number thanks!
I live in SA so the “overseas” number was correct for your country. Didn’t want to confuse others by posting the part number for SA lol.
In any case it seems that my dealer could easily get a country specific number from the one you already provided so I would say use your number to begin with whichever country you are in!
