Saw this ad in Dupont Registry. 2007 XK8 Convertible done up in Mary Kay Pink. My first reaction was a gagging sound. It's in FL so maybe they have a different color sense than I do. My guess is that the market for this is limited to the following:

Rich guy buying a car for trophy wife/girlfriend or mistress

Paris Hilton

The only way I would accept this car was if it was given to me. I would then have to do an extensive re-do to remove all traces of the pink.

There was an X308 like that, asking price over 100K.

The land of Florida has also spit out something called a Nieman Marcus 1997 XK8 convertible, it's now up here. Somebody went through the interior shop and picked out all different trim codes for the panels, stuck them in the car and doubled the price. The car looks confused.

The same outfit has a bright yellow coupe. I bet they sent over the cars over to Unique Whips and gave them a lot of drugs to work on the cars.

Definitely a trophy wife/girlfriend car.. there's not many girls you couldn't acquire by tempting them with the use of that car.

You're not suppose to do that to a Jaguar. Old Testament, very obscure passage. Trust me, it's wrong.

 

I do not think the pink exterior or piping looks bad, the pink trim and wheels... not at all.

 

They'll never get that kind of money for this car. I like it, but already got a Jag and that one is too expensive.
