Default Question on tires. Car goes on the left / Jaguar Le Port Marly

The car lightly goes on the left, the geometrie is good and was checked.
we can't rotate them , it is 20 inches assymetrical and rear and front are not same size.
the tires are dunlop only 10000 miles.
what will you do?

Remove 100 of pression from the right tire and and increase 100 on the left?
change the front tire?
The dealership (I did not buy the car there) said there is chances it is coming from all 4 tires and changing only the front may not resolve all.

Swap wheels at the dealership, see if that fixes it and then decide. The Dunlops are quite expenisve and I would look at another brand to replace them with. 10K use on tires is already a bit worn.

How does the tread depth vary along the surface of the tires?

Seems like an alignment issue, didn't read that you had that done. Also, as noted by
mosesbotbol i'd look at the depth's across the tires. That would give you an idea if the alignment needs to be done. I thought I read somewhere on this forum that this car is sensitive to alignment and may need to be done more often than other cars....

Mosesbotbol, thanks I look at the tread, and it seems ok, about the same last tread and first one are used the same . Swap? can we with assymetrical , to set the left tire on the right wheel you meant?

thank you Chakka.

I will call them and i wander why they did not thaught about the alignment. Unless they checked it too.

and is it easy for the regular shop to do an alignment or would you go with jag?

in the meantime we have very strong wind here since 30 days and it does not help...I bet you I won't even be able to notice if it is ever fixed unless the weather changes.

Well thank you guys i did not wait and have the geometry/alignment done another time (first time they just checked it out) and the rear left wheel was real bad. We did not have to swap wheels yet. it seems much better even with the wind. I don't like dunlop they remind me michelin, not a lot of caracter but they last. at least now they can last ...

what do you recommend when i will be changing them? pirelli p zero, they are good but got noisy.

and 35000 km 20 000 miles seems what a brand new set will last?

Thank you all!

By checking the tread, see how the tread depth varies from the edge, 3" in on both sides of the tire and in the center. How much does the tread vary?

By swapping the wheels, I mean from another XK if possible.

For brands, if you can run "summer" tires all year round, I really love Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position. Quiet, amazing wet weather handling, good grip, nice looking, well priced, and developed when Schumacher and Bridgestone were at their best in F1

the tires have a an angle like yes it is more used inside than outside, indeed, but both front.

These Bridgestone sounds really good, I was worry being ennuyed with the early noise from the p zero, and I am looking for a better price.
thanks Mosesbotbol, again my hats off to you guys. I can't wait to drive it again! lol.

I had P Zero Nero A/S on my VDP and they were quiet for what it's worth. I know they are known to be noisy and maybe the summer only are? Still sidewall too.

Default Tire Alignment?

I took my XKR to the track and when driving home I noticed that it was pulling to the left slightly. I took it to the dealer and they asked me what I did to the car because everything that could be adjusted was out of adjustment, including the alignment. The service manager does a lot of racing and told me that I will need to bring it in after tracking it. Do you drive it hard on B-roads? If not you should! Just kidding, good luck!
