Default Rear interior panel replacement.

The rear panel behind the drivers seat had wear holes in it from the drivers seat rubbing against it at some point. This has been annoying me for quite some time. I managed to find a mint condition one on eBay and bought it. Taking the back seat apart was easy enough, it took around 30 mins all being done.

Threaded the seat belt back through the panel opening and bolted it all back in. Really happy chap knowing that has been sorted.

Have you recalibrated your seats yet? The ONLY reason a seat would touch that area is if the seat module has a problem allowing it to go out of range.

If the condition remains, your new panels will end up like the old ones. Nobody wants that.

If the seat upright is tilted back it will rub even if calibrated, also depends how heavy the previous owner was too!!!!!

Nope. Sorry. If it's calibrated correctly, putting the seat back farther will make the entire seat move forward so it won't make contact. The seat will never touch that panel if all is well.

If you're talking about a large person deforming the seat to that extent, then that seat is defective and should be replaced. That'd be a LOT of damage.
Really though, you need it recalibrated.
