If you’re sticking with the stock taillights, I think there’s some integrity to the look with the stock #3 (chrome / blacked out leaped) appearance that I like.
If you were to upgrade to the newer LED taillights, then I’d go to #1 (black) for a clean look.
The 4.2L XKR did not come from the factory with a Leaper above the plinth. #3 is stock, without a Leaper; it has not been blacked out because there never was a Leaper
I prefer stock.

Nor did it come with a 4.4 , performance seats or the larger aero pack rear spoiler
Personally I'm not a fan of the rear leaper at all however I have read there's two alignment pins on the rear of it hence why it hasn't been removed wrapping would be the next best option.

British cars are chrome, colors, clear interiors and wood.
Leave the all black stuff and "tuning" styling to german production.
