Default Recommendation For Headliner Repair In Las Vegas

Hello,

My 2007 XK now has the common problem of the sagging headliner. I guess this Vegas heat finally got to it (the car lived in NJ for 8 years).

I know the dealers charge at least $700 for this. Does anyone have a recommendation for an auto upholstery shop in Las Vegas? I found a few nearby but I was hoping for some suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Eric

Pretty much any competent shop can do it. Some folks have even had stereo shops do it for a fraction of the upolstophy shops. Check out my build thread for how I did mine myself.

I did finally find THE auto upolstery shop in Vegas where most of the dealers get their work done: IANs Auto Interiors, https://www.iansautointeriors.com.

I just recently visited his shop inquiring about leather repair to my 2001 Silverstone and he had everything he needed, the leather and the red stitching. Quite reasonable prices.

Thanks Brad for the response. I did end up getting it done at Ian's. They did a great job.

That's great! I am looking for them to redo my leather soon. I have a silverstone, so I have red accents on black. Ian quoted a fair price price to redo the entire interior exactly to stock. My armrest needs help, my drivers seat has the first tear and the red is pretty faded. I'd love to have it made new again! Wonder if they can improve the stock seat bolsters just a bit?

I know the headliner has already been replaced, I just wanted to mention that I had mine done a few weeks ago and it only cost $200. It was a little, one-man-show upholstery shop just down the street from my office. I gave the guy a $50 tip because $200 is just too damn cheap. He did the whole job in about 2 hours.

Anyone who tries to charge you $700 is ripping you off. The headliner fabric probably costs $50 at the most. At $700 that means they are charging you $350 per hour for labor. My lawyer doesn't charge that much!
