Quick question but someone mentioned to me a while back that my 2012 XKR they do not recommend doing a remote start system on it unless some shop knows exactly what they are doing due to the complexities of the Jaguar and computers. Has anyone done this successfully or any thoughts?

I was told it could be done but in order to drive away, you would have to turn the car off after remote start and then use the Jag fob to be able to push start and shift to drive.

 

I would stay away from attempting to put a remote start. These cars are quirky enough, why add the potential grief?
