I went to repair the center speaker grille on my 2010 XK and it broke into a bunch of pieces. I am having trouble locating the replacement center grill online. Does someone know of a good preferably inexpensive source?

That one guy in another recent thread about speaker rings makes 3D prints. I don't know what that center cover is or looks like though, so maybe I'm talking out my butt about the possibility of printing that part.

 

Unfortunately, they don’t ship to the US. One eBay seller seemed to imply the one for the XF would also work for the XK.

 

If the XF fits, they are on eBay for $20.

 

I’ll play…just ordered one from eBay…listing says it’s new, not OEM…ships from Kentucky…mine is still good but I’m starting to hoard plastic parts for future use…

My luck didn't hold. I ordered https://www.ebay.com/itm/314885205290 and it is larger than the one on my 2011 XK and does not fit.
Oh well, I have an XF center speaker grille if anybody needs one.

 

It seems the grill is a candidate for a 3D printer. At my yacht club a neighbor knocked out in hours, a piece for the top of my mast. A half moon was missing, so he used the other half as model.

 

From reading the thread the centre grille on an XF is the same as a 2009 XK but not a 2011 XK. Is that correct?

If it is correct will it fit a 2008 XK?

I need a replacement so that I can modify it to use as a phone holder, keeping the original safe to be re-fitted later.
