When the dealer bypasses the amplifier the rest of the modules in the MOST circuit report OK. I went off looking for a used amplifier. I am being offered a 6W83-18C808-AG as a replacement for my 6W83-18C808-AE. It is from a 2014 Jaguar. Are they switchable without losing any of my original capabilities? Thanks.

 

Yes, the amplifiers are interchangeable across the whole X150 range.

 

Thanks so much. The mechanic at Spokane, Washington, Jaguar was good enough to let me see the MOST test results. Having bypassed the amp, all other components reported positive. Maybe this is the end of the journey. You have been so helpful.

 

I replaced the amplifier with a salvaged one from a company in California. I installed it and the entire system came back. Finally. Thanks for your help.
