I wanted to clarify that I didn't install a backup camera... I installed a DASH camera, which also has a rear-facing camera. I pulled out nearly the whole interior roof and upper trim panels to properly route the wiring and have it exit out a small recess carved into the rear-view mirror plastic shroud with a dremel. It then goes around the headliner tucked into the roof frame along the b-pillar, then through the rubber harness casing to the hatch, and onto the rear glass.

I did have to pull out the rubber wiring harness boot/sleeve and grommet for the hatch to pull the wiring through, but I'm having a REALLY difficult time putting it back. Anyone ever have to do this and can offer tips?

Default Wheels and spoilers

Just got the car back from the body shop for paint and ceramic coat... I finally installed the XKR-S GT side skirts, with the dynamic pack valance, spoiler, and front splitter.

Added a carbon mina gallery splitter below that, to go with the carbon hood vents and mirror covers.

I also installed black pack trim all around, and painted the chrome window surround trim black to match.

Swapped out the black grille emblem for a red one as well.

Wheels are MRR FS06 19x11 et50 & 19x8.5 et35 on Michelin pilot sport 4s (315/30 & 275/35).

I have a set of 20mm lowering springs that are not installed yet... I want to drive on it with the stock ride height for awhile and see how the added front aero works around town with scraping and bumps before committing to that.

Wheels look good. They look identical to HRE. Corious why you went with 19". How much cleance do you have with rear 315s?

Lots of reasons... The brake rotors and calipers fill the barrel perfectly. More sidewall provides a much better ride and is safer for the wheels. I think they perform better as well over a 20" wheel. A 19" wheel has shorter spokes and is therefore an inherently stronger wheel.

The 315 tire fits perfectly. About 10mm of inside clearance, depending on suspension travel... to the point that it touches the wheel liner when the car is off the ground. I do not think a wider tire can fit without rolling the fender. I'm an engineer and took over 15 measurements using a micrometer to make sure I got the ideal offset and width, and I believe I achieved that goal.

The front can be wider, but the manufacturer couldn't guarantee fitment and provide warranty if they didn't, so I conceded despite being confident a 9.5 wheel would fit. I really don't think having a 9.5" front wheel would have given me much benefit on a RWD car anyways, and tires are a bit cheaper... So I'm happy.

I got a restricted performance warning light a few weeks ago after idling for 30 minutes, and saw that coolant temps were at 220⁰F. Instantly parked the car and waited for them to get down. The coolant fan was not spinning, so that was likely the culprit, as the coolant levels were fine.

After collecting all the parts, the local Jaguar independent shop (Jag Mac Dallas) did a ton of work to the vehicle this past week... It was just too much for me to tackle on my own. Removing the supercharger by myself was not sounding fun at all.

So the car got:
New radiator fan
Fixed rear manifold coolant pinhole leak
Fixed front main seal leak (new front cover assembly)
Replaced vacuum pump due to leak discovered during above repairs

(While you're at it jobs)
New o rings on aluminum coolant tubes
New supercharger gasket
New intake manifold gasket
New oil cooler gasket
New coolant hoses
New front main seal
Fresh fluids (oil and coolant)

He attempted to fit the Pierburg CWA100-3 upgraded auxiliary pump to replace my non functional stock pump, but he said it wouldn't fit properly since it's a larger diameter.

So, I'll have to address the failed auxiliary pump at a later date... Coolant temps are not exceeding 205⁰F, now the the radiator fan works properly.
