Haha, what a fake-out! Sorta!

Congrats on the F-Type!!!! Did you take delivery already?

P.S. technically it's not RIP XKR if the XKR isn't totaled or destroyed! Someone else will enjoy it!

Went down for a test drive (Alpine Jag - Larry Garber- best and oldest Jag salesman on the planet) and took one home off the floor... No great photos yet but here's one from the garage last night... 2 early drama moments - the neighbor's kid was looking at it, let him take it out for a test drive - he came back, im standing in the garage with a Gin/Tonic looking down at a crease in the seat and for no good reason my glass just breaks - the bottom falls right off and into the car along with 25% of my drink... no shattered glass, the thick bottom just separated from the glass... So, I'm pissed of course, cleaning ice and what gin hasn't evaporated into the carpet - Move passenger seat forward, and assume seat belt guide on shoulder of seat is magnetic like the XKR - give a gentle but firm tug and the plastic Torx screw holding bottom of strap just rips right out of car... Plastic screw threaded into plastic female coupling - So, now I've dropped a drink into my few hours car and disproved my Tata statement that was only 20 min old... sheeeet...

Congrats!...

You broke it already! Hahaha

But seriously? A plastic screw? That's a first... I wonder what other surprises are lurking. Good luck beta testing.

Damn, what a waste of a good G&T.

Congratulations on the F Type, I'm fairly sure that this is the first home garaged example I've seen on the forum.

That looks great. I also really like that color combo- white exterior, red int, and dark rims

It really looks fantastic in white!

You don't need no stinkin' ventilated seats. It's supposed to be a sports car! And people wonder how it ended up being 3800 lbs...

I don't see the PM however the windscreen is at Alpine Jag so if you drop off $100 with Larry Garber, I'll instruct him to give it to you. Email me at Middleton AT inbox.com
