Anyone have any tips on how to play my Samsung Galaxy through the USB or Ipod connector. I would like to play the stored songs I have on my phone but can't connect using the USB port or Ipod Port in the console. I don't want to switch back to iphone but I find it annoying that an 85k car isn't compatible with android phones. Anyone have the same issue?

 

Unfortunately it's an Apple world. I use an older ipod touch. Got a 64Gb one for $100 on craigslist. The USB port is only good for thumb drives but then you're stuck using the head units' menu to access files and folders. It's slow and it sucks.

 

dang. I have a FM modulator as a work around currently but it's a hassle. Thanks for the reply.

 

I play pandora from my Galaxy S5 on my 2011 by using a Viseeo Tune2air. Its a Blue tooth adapter that plugs into the i-pod outlet works great.
If you search it here there is a bunch of people using them.

 

i just put the mp3s on a usb drive and plug it in... have different flash drives with different
artists... simple
