Is there anyone in Houston TX beside my AD that can activate some features on my car?

I need to get the following activated on my 07 XKR;

Power Fold Mirror Modules
Heated Wheel on display screen
Aux on display screen

Also on my 07 XK when adding a phone to pair, it no longer works. It did before, but now when it asks to add new phone, I push the screen, and nothing.

If you still have your old phone that worked, see if you can connect it to your WiFi network (or get it temporarily activated to a cellular network) and try to pair it again. If you can pair it and it works, the problem is with your new phone. Simply put, your Bluetooth module is probably original to your 2007 model and your new phone isn't backwards compatible. 16 years is an eternity for technology. That's why I still use my old Samsung Galaxy S8 - it works with all my cars and still does everything I need.

If your old phone doesn't pair, then it's the Bluetooth module. First thing to do is make sure that your battery is fully charged and try again. If your old phone still doesn't pair, replace your Bluetooth module. Search this Forum for advice on replacing that module.

No help to your question but wanted to ask if you retro fitted folding mirrors? I don't know they were an option on the 07.

 

I was going to ask that, but figured I didn't have enough information.

 

I found on my ‘09 XK that the phone would not pair with the engine running. Press the “start” button without touching the brake to activate accessory mode and try to pair….worked for me. As to your SDD issue, find an independent shop with Autologic. I had my aux mode activated using it…

 

Yeah, I don’t think it was available in 2007.

 

It isn't as I have all those features enabled on mine but the folding mirrors don't work since the mirrors don't have a motor on them same with the steering wheel as it doesn't have the heating element in it.
